About Us

What does Live Sounds do?
Live Sounds CIC has been established to support talented young musicians and people interested in the various aspects of the music industry through education and career development programmes, as well as by actually getting out there and doing the work, recording music, selling it and performing live. We aim to gather a good team of people and help them learn the ins and outs of the most exciting industry there is!

We've also got the Big Fat Summer Bash on the go again this year, and it's going to be huge!

What is a CIC?
Community Interest Companies (CICs) are limited companies, with special additional features, created for the use of people who want to conduct a business or other activity for community benefit, and not purely for private advantage. This is achieved by a "community interest test" and "asset lock", which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes and the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes. Registration of a company as a CIC has to be approved by the Regulator who also has a continuing monitoring and enforcement role.
